Vojislava Lukić, a professional tennis player who hails from Subotica, Serbia; has till date six ITF titles to her name in singles’ competition and three in doubles’ challenge. Year 2007 saw her rising to her best ranking till date at number 203 in singles’ WTA and 233 in doubles’. She represented her home country in Fed Cup in 2007 and teamed up with Jelena Janković, Ana Jovanović and Ana Timotić. At Alphen aan den Rijn, The Netherlands tournament she retired from the game momentarily, though she made appearance in ITF Tournament, Dubai in doubles’ teaming up with Bojana Jovanovski in 2009, but she returned to the game after 2012 only. In her sabbatical from tennis at professional level, she started her own tennis academy for training purposes of girls and has also been working as a model and television host.he made it to the quarterfinals of 2004 Wimbledon at junior level, and emerged victorious over promising players like Alla Kudryavtseva, Kateryna Bondarenko, Monica Niculescu, Lucie Šafářová and Olga Govortsova.In 2008 she started playing at the professional level and triumphed in her first three singles’ titles in Romania – Piteşti, Medias and Bucharest in 2006. Year 2007 saw her winning her her next singles trophy at Attaleia, Turkey where she defeated Anastasija Sevastova 6–3, 7–6(3). After her three unsuccessful doubles’ final in preceding years, 2007 brought her three doubles’ trophies as well. She has played at WTA Tournament and Grand Slam only once and had unsuccessful run at them- Istanbul Cup 2007 where she was defeated by Urszula Radwańska in first round and then US Open 2007 where she lost to Galina Voskoboeva in the first qualification round. She appeared in Serbia’s team for Fed Cup of 2007.
