Mariah Carey was born in Long Island, New York.Mariah attended Harborfields High School in Greenlawn, New York and graduated in 1987. She also attended Florida Atlantic University.She is the daughter of Patricia (Hickey), a singer and vocal coach, and Alfred Roy Carey, an engineer.
