Joy attended Barry University in Miami, Florida, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Communications in 2009. During her college years, she was also a Division One track sprinter. Additionally, Joy worked at the university’s radio station, WBRY 1640 AM, where she eventually became the manager.
Career Journey
Joy began her professional career in Miami, working as an executive producer for 790 AM The Ticket. She co-hosted the popular morning sports radio show called the Zaslow and Joy Show for three years.
After her time in Miami, she joined CBSSports.com, where she hosted shows like Fantasy Football Today and Thursday Night Live. In March 2016, she moved to FOX Sports, where she has continued to grow her career. At FOX Sports, she filled in for Kristine Leahy on The Herd with Colin Cowherd.
On August 15, 2016, Joy was announced as the moderator for the sports debate show Skip and Shannon: Undisputed, working alongside commentator Skip Bayless and analyst Shannon Sharpe. In 2018, she transitioned from Undisputed to The Herd with Colin Cowherd, starting her new role on June 18, 2018.
On September 9, 2021, Joy was named the host of The Joy Taylor Show on FOX Sports Radio, which airs on Saturdays. In addition to her hosting duties, she runs the Maybe I’m Crazy podcast, where she discusses stories from the NFL, NBA, and other sports. She also hosts The Hang on Facebook Live.

Joy was married to Richard Giannotti from 2016 to 2017. They first met at a conference in 2014 and dated before getting married on February 13, 2016, at the Biltmore luxury hotel in Miami. Their marriage ended after a brief period, and the reasons for their split were not publicly disclosed.
In 2017, Joy revealed on an episode of Undisputed that she had experienced domestic abuse, but she did not disclose the identity of her abuser.
In September 2018, she got engaged to Earl Watson, a former NBA point guard and head coach. However, they called off their engagement in 2019. Since then, Joy has kept her dating life out of the media spotlight.
