Adele Laurie was borni n North London, England. on May 5, 1988. Her father left the family when Adele was only 4 years old.She was the only child of Penny Adkins, an “arty mom” Her mother was only. 18 at the time of her birth, and a Welsh father, Mark Evans she was raised by her mother single-handedly. In May 2006 she graduated from BRIT School for Performing Arts & Technology in Croydon. In 2006, after graduation for a class project she recorded a three songs demo which impressed the XL Recording executives. Subsequently, she was contacted by the company and signed for a recording contract.
